[Olug-list] Mozilla trouble

(I use Mozilla 1.1.)

I sent a message to a newsgroup, but got an error message to the 
effect that the sender address was invalid so the message could not be 
sent.

I obliged and changed the sender address, but the same thing happened 
four times. The last time it finally worked.

When I checked the newsgroup, I saw to my consternation that the same 
message was sent in 5x to that group. On top of that, the "Cancel 
Message" option in the menu when right-clicking on it was and still is 
dimmed.

What happens, and how to get back the Cancel function, so it becomes 
possible to remove the unwanted/redundant messages?
